The quality of all substantial processes regarding the corn supply, from agricultural applications to the transportation to the mill, are essential for Semolina’s requirements of yield, quality, traceability and the HACCP and food safety standards.

Each year freshly harvested highest quality corn is internally sourced from Semolina’s contracted farmers and approved vendors through the Agro Program. The imported corn is also tested against these criteria by reliable third party sampling and inspections.

After transportation to the mill, all lots are inspected and tested for quality specifications, microbiological and toxicological properties against HACCP criteria and the related quality plans to be sorted and segregated by its source for efficient traceability.

Besides performing all the conventional quality tests for physical properties, Semolina Quality Control Laboratory is equipped with latest Microbiology, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Near Infra Red (NIR) equipment that serves the needs of our QA and QC teams to test against all required mycotoxins and microbiological parameters included in the Semolina materials receipt procedures and quality plans designed to meet the customer specifications for the final products.
